In a move to enhance diplomatic ties, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged China and the United States to eliminate barriers and foster better communication. Speaking with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Wang emphasized the importance of building a constructive bilateral relationship anchored in strategic stability. He advocated for adherence to principles such as equality, mutual respect, and mutual benefit, suggesting that these should be translated into tangible policies and practical cooperation.

Wang highlighted that maintaining a stable relationship is in the best interest of both nations, as well as the broader global community.
